Reut Baror was born in Israel, served in the IDF and graduated from Tel Aviv University, Magna Cum Laude, BA Political Science and International Relations. Reut also holds a MBA from Brunel University, West London. In 1996, Reut and her husband moved to Melbourne, Australia, where Reut worked in various positions in the private sector (Hewlett-Packard) as well as the non-for-profit sector (National Institute of Clinical Studies). In early 2007 Reut and her family moved to Singapore and in late 2008 the family moved to Philadelphia USA. In Philly, Reut developed a career as a Real Estate Agent, specializing in both residential and investments properties as well as being the point of call for Israeli families relocating to the area. Together with her husband they have three children, two sons and one daughter. The eldest son served until recently as a lone soldier in the IDF.
Reut founded in 2010 (together with the Israeli House representative and other community members) the Philadelphia chapter of the Friends of Israeli Scouts. She was the chapter chair for the first two years. Reut continues to be a resource for the community and has been involved in many community projects/initiatives over the years including serving on the Board of the local chapter of the IAC, particpant in many of the IAC programs, a member of the leadership team of the “Women Wisdom Circle”, managing a socail platform for local hebrew speaking women, participating in Federation of Greater Philadelphia Communittee Engagement Committee, and a member of Momentum delegation to Israel in 2019
