Hometown: Long Island, NY
Favorite Jewish Holiday: Hanukkah
Favorite Philly Food: Cheesesteak
I am excited to be the Aquatic Director at the Philly JCC. With over ten years of experience as a lifeguard and a Water Safety Instructor (WSI)-certified instructor, I’ve developed a deep passion for water safety and swimming education. My aquatics journey also includes coaching swim teams, where I’ve had the privilege of mentoring young athletes and fostering their love for the sport.
I am currently pursuing a degree in art education and working as a special education aide on Long Island, where I support students with diverse needs. This experience has strengthened my commitment to making lessons accessible for children with disabilities, and I specialize in adapting swimming instruction to meet individual needs.
Originally from New York, I’m looking forward to spending the summer in Philadelphia, and after completing my teaching certification, I can’t wait to call this vibrant city my home and begin my career as a teacher. Swimming has been a part of my life for almost two decades, from competing at various levels for eleven years to now, bringing my experience and enthusiasm to this community.
