With this heat wave, the start of Camp Kef on Monday, and pool members returning to their summer swim routines, one thing is clear: Summer is here! We are sure ready to welcome it with an unforgettable celebration – Shalom Summer is just around the corner on Sunday, June 30. After the tremendous success of last year’s event honoring Ron and Rachelle Kaiserman, we’re thrilled to invite you to another fantastic gathering filled with music, community, and gratitude. This year’s event takes place from 3:30-7pm, rain or shine, and features a FREE concert!
Prepare to be captivated by the mesmerizing tunes of the Americana/Folk/Bluegrass band, Nefesh Mountain, as they grace our stage with two sets of soul-stirring melodies. We’re especially excited to highlight our newly added beer garden featuring Twisted Gingers, a local brewery, serving up their finest brews.
Join us for a fun-filled evening with lawn games, activities for kids, and snacks and dinner available for purchase from Nana’s Kitchen. PLUS don’t miss out on the opportunity to celebrate six outstanding individuals from our community who have dedicated over 60 years of their lives to service and devotion. This year, we recognize Llewellyn Thomas, Neil & Lois Shander, Karen Rosenfeld, Na’ama Yarden, Neil Haimm, and Fran & Marvin Weinberger. Their tireless efforts have shaped our community into the inclusive and vibrant hub it is today.
