Mini & Junior JCC Maccabi Games

Join Team Philadelphia for the 2025 Mid-Atlantic Mini and Junior Maccabi Games in Cherry Hill, NJ on May 4th, 2025.

The Mid-Atlantic Mini & Junior Maccabi Games is a one day tournament for Jewish athletes who are 9-12. Close to 800 Jewish athletes from 15+ JCCs across the Mid-Atlantic compete. The games help prepare the athletes for the JCC Maccabi Games.

This May, Team Philadelphia will have teams to competing in Baseball, Basketball, E-Sports, Pickleball Soccer, Swimming, Tennis and Track Tournaments. There are two age divisions for the tournament: Mini (9-10 year olds) and Junior (11-12 year olds). Eligibility is determined by your age on August 1, 2025.

For most sports, we will be bringing both Mini and Junior Teams but there are several teams that we may only have Juniors.

There is a limited ability for athletes to play up an age division.

A few important notes about team formation this year:

  • We are working to schedule open practice evaluation dates for boys’ and girls’ basketball and potentially soccer. This will be a precursor to team formation and practices.  Athletes must be registered for Team Philadelphia prior to our practices.
  • Based on past feedback, all athletes will be able to request 2 friends on their team. Requests need to be mutual and are just requests. We will do our best to honor at least one.
  • All Pickleball, Swim, Tennis, and Track athletes regardless of skill level are welcome on Team Philly.
