Kick-off Hanukkah with the Challah Prince

|

Dear Friends,

We’re excited to welcome Idan Chabasov, the renowned Challah Prince, to the Kaiserman JCC for an unforgettable afternoon on Sunday December 15th from 2-4pm as we kick off the holiday season!

Idan has enchanted audiences across the region with his innovative approach to challah braiding, blending artistry with tradition. Originally from Tel Aviv, Idan discovered his passion for baking during his time in Berlin, where he sought connection through Shabbat dinners and began experimenting with challah. His unique designs, from heart-shaped loaves to whimsical creations, have garnered him a massive following on social media.

Idan’s journey to becoming the Challah Prince began in late 2019 when he opened an Instagram account to share his baking adventures. Combining his background in animation, video production, and professional dancing, he showcased his stunning challah creations, quickly gaining traction. Today, his community has grown to over 750K followers on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook! His engaging videos and creative braiding techniques resonated with many, especially during the pandemic when home baking surged. Idan’s ability to connect with his audience through storytelling and artistry has made him a beloved figure in the culinary world, inspiring countless individuals to embrace this beautiful tradition. He has since traveled the globe, holding talks and workshops at JCCs, synagogues, and has even been featured in the New York Times!
