In Loving Memory of Byron Fersner, "Mr. B"

Dear Friends,

It is with a very heavy heart that we share the sad news that Byron Fersner, “Mr. B”, beloved member of the JCC staff family, has passed away.

In Jewish tradition it is often said in these circumstances – may his memory be for a blessing. But with Byron we know this to be true.

For so many, Byron was the ebullient face of the Kaiserman JCC. The personification of our values – joy, and hospitality. Regardless the circumstances, Byron could effortlessly make anyone’s day, “Greeeaaaat!”

We are missing a very special piece of the community without our “Mr. B, of the JCC”. We have a memorial set up in the main lobby, please feel free to stop by and sign your name or share a memory. In response to inquiries, we have established a dedicated donation page if you are interested in donating in Byron’s memory.

We are working to plan a memorial event in coordination with Byron’s loved ones at the J. We will share details as soon as we have them finalized.
