Dear Friends,
As we enjoy the vibrant activities and programs of summer, we are continually looking ahead to how we can further enrich the experiences of all our members. Our JCC has always been a place where creativity and community thrive, and we are excited to share some wonderful news with you. Next summer, we aim to enhance our arts program with the introduction and expansion of ceramics, and we need your support to make it happen.
Our goal is to purchase a kiln, which will not only benefit our campers by expanding their artistic opportunities but will also be utilized year-round by our preschool, after-school enrichment, and older adult programs.
With a kiln, our community members would be able to make figurines, trinkets, dishes, and more! There are also amazing benefits to working with clay such as increasing fine motor skills, sensory exploration, and self-expression.
To achieve this, we need to raise $10,000. To help that cause, we are also excited to announce that the Kaiserman JCC received a matching grant, meaning your donation will have extra impact! The Day Camp 2024 Matching Grant program is made possible through JCamp 180, a program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation.
Your generosity has always been the cornerstone of our community’s success, and we are incredibly grateful for your ongoing support. Together, let’s create lasting memories and enriching experiences through art for all ages in our community.
