Philadelphia has and continues to offer exceptional academic training in art, as well as opportunities for exhibiting and viewing art. From painting and sculpture to illustration and design, Philly has been a hotbed of arts learning and leading on the national and international stage. We will explore an array of 19th to 21st century women artists working in myriad styles ranging from Realism and Pennsylvania Impressionism to exhilarating Contemporary art.
