Our culture’s emphasis on independence, and the negative connotations of the term “co-dependency,” leads us to shun our needs. But when we understand the basic science behind attachment and learn the steps that create strong bonds, we open the window into the way to create and maintain relationships that meet our attachment needs at every stage of life and through a variety of relationships.

Kate Forest is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience with families of all configurations. She focuses exclusively on helping clients create and strengthen romantic relationships. She is LGBTQ+ affirming.
