Our board of directors is the lifeblood of our organization. They are our fiscal stewards, the drivers behind our strategic vision, and ambassadors to our community.
At our L’Chaim event in December, we were able to honor five new board members to our organization in 2024, and we wanted to introduce them all to our full community today:
Amy Zitelman Hersch lives in Penn Valley, PA with her husband and frequents the JCC with their three sons for their family friendly activities. Amy is CEO and cofounder of Soom Foods, the leading brand of tahini in the US Market, and is excited to help contribute to the JCC’s development, focusing on fundraising and corporate sponsorship strategy.
Eli Klein is currently an Assistant United States Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Delaware. Eli cites the Kaiserman JCC’s gym as the location of some of his proudest (though limited) athletic achievements growing up. He and his wife have one son who attends preschool at the J and every day talks about how much he loves “my JCC.”
Josh Bernstein grew up in Wynnewood, just a few blocks from the JCC. He began playing baseball and soccer at the JCC as a young kid and his family was a member of the JCC Kaiserman as long as he can remember. He now serves as Deputy General Counsel at OTG Concessions Management, a food and beverage concessionaire that owns, develops and operates restaurants in airports across North America. Josh lives in Bryn Mawr with his wife, his daughter, and his son.
Lev Davidson is an Operating Partner at Tenex Capital Management. Lev, who lives with his wife in Merion Station, was a 2024 inductee into the Philadelphia JCC Maccabi Hall of Fame.
Tani Weissman is a Partner at DRG Talent Advisory Group. A proud Baltimore native, Tani now resides in Merion Station, where he lives with his wife, Jordana, and their two sons, Cobi and Isaac. He is excited to play a part in continuing to shape and grow the Kaiserman JCC.
