All You Need is LOVE for the Philly J

Dear Friends,

Everyone is invited to come together for a special afternoon of Beatles music and merriment Sunday, February 26, from 4 to 6 pm here at the J!

All You Need Is Love for the Philly JCC is a fundraiser – the emphasis is on “fun” – with proceeds going to support the JCC’s extensive adult wellness programs. Upcoming sessions at the JCC will focus on healthy eating, brain health, getting a good night’s sleep, and maintaining your balance. Because most of these sessions are free or pay-what-you-can, this event will help us expand the program to make it more widely accessible for our community.

Live music will be provided by R&R, a local duo specializing in songs by the Fab Four. Collectively, Ron Schaumburg (keyboards) and Rusty Forman (guitar, vocals) have been playing rock and roll music by the Beatles for more than 100 years – can you dig it? Their real love for these timeless classics shines through in their energetic performance.

But they can only succeed with a little help from their friends, so – all together now! – the audience will be encouraged to sing along. Don’t worry if you don’t remember the words – lyric sheets will be on hand.

Light refreshments and soft drinks will be provided, and you can BYOB. Browse every little thing at the memorabilia display, featuring rare and unique Beatles items from R&R’s personal collections. And snap a souvenir selfie at the Abbey Road photo booth. You might even bring home a little money if you win the 50/50 raffle – wouldn’t that be something?

Admission is just $25, with discounted tickets available at $15 for Friends of the J. Seating is limited, and it won’t be long before your ticket to ride is gone. So don’t wait.
