Dear Friends,
A new chapter is officially unfolding as we proudly announce our merger with Gems, a cherished program previously affiliated with Golden Slipper. Following official state approval, we are delighted to welcome Gems into the Kaiserman JCC family in September. With this merger, we embark on a journey of enriched experiences and opportunities. Join us in celebrating Gems at the J, an engaging hub tailored for older adults. We are committed to combining the best of both worlds – seamlessly integrating existing JCC activities like fitness classes, board game clubs, health talks, and more with all-new Gems programming. Delve into politics, arts and culture, Judaism, and beyond – there will be something for everyone!
To celebrate this exciting venture, we present “Taste of Gems” – a special September program. Brace yourselves for a delightful lineup featuring interactive fitness classes, Broadway trivia, thought-provoking political discussions, insightful museum tours, and creative art and cooking classes. The pinnacle of this program will shine in mid-September, offering you the chance to meet the dedicated Gems staff joining our team and revel in a sing-a-long performance.
We would like to express our gratitude to the valued supporters of Gems, Golden Slipper Club and Charities, the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, and to our generous board members for their unwavering commitment in making this venture a reality.

For questions related to Gems programming, please reach out to Rabbi Moriah SimonHazani at gems@phillyjcc.com. Moriah looks forward to introducing herself and the Gems team to our community in the coming weeks.
Shabbat Shalom,
Alan
