Dear Friends,
Tu B’Shvat, the “Birthday of the Trees,” is a time to celebrate nature, growth, and renewal. This year, Tu B’Shvat falls on Thursday, February 13, marking the first signs of spring in Israel as trees begin to bloom. It’s a beautiful reminder of our connection to the environment and our responsibility to care for the world around us. This holiday invites us to pause, appreciate the beauty of nature, and plant the seeds – both literally and figuratively – for a greener future.
We invite you to join us this Sunday, February 9, from 10-11:30 am at the Kaiserman JCC for a joyful and interactive Tu B’Shvat celebration with our incredible Israeli ShinShiniyot, Shira and Einav! This family-friendly event will feature engaging games, delicious Tu B’Shvat treats, and a hands-on craft, creating your very own Grass Heads! Kids will have a blast designing their Grass Head characters and watching their “hair” grow over time, a fun and creative way to connect with nature.
It’s a wonderful chance to spend time with family, connect with our community, and celebrate this special holiday together. And with the Super Bowl happening later that evening, what better way to start your day than by celebrating nature in the morning and Philly football at night?
Don’t miss out on this meaningful and fun-filled morning!
Registration is just $18 per family, so sign up today and be part of this special celebration.
Shabbat Shalom, Happy Tu B’Shvat, and Go Birds!
Barrie
