Dear Friends,
With so many exciting events and programs this season, we’re thrilled to share some highlights! Below, you’ll find upcoming activities grouped for all ages and interests—and be sure to check out the additional flyers in this email for even more details.
Fitness for All: This weekend, join us for Sweat for a Cause with Sweat Now on Sunday, November 3, from 3-5 pm! Expert trainers will guide participants of all fitness levels through mini sessions, with all proceeds supporting our Wellness Scholarship Fund. Also, along with our regular fitness classes like Yoga, Zumba, and Pilates, we have some fun pop-up classes this month, including Warrior Fitness Martial Arts, Belly Dance, and even pickleball! Don’t miss out on a great chance to try something new.
For Families and Young Children: Bring the family for Family Pizza Shabbat on Friday, November 8, from 5-7 pm! Enjoy pizza, drinks, and dessert—whether you dine in or take your meal to go—and experience fun Camp Kef Shabbat activities like music, crafts, and games. Plus, starting November 10, our Kid’s Gym is back every Sunday morning from 8:30-10 am, perfect for kids from crawlers to age 6. We’re now offering flexible 10-session and unlimited passes, along with our regular drop-in rate.
Older Kids and Teens: For kids in grades 3-7, we’re hosting a Junior Color War with Philadelphia Maccabi on Saturday, December 7, from 7-10 pm. Come solo or bring a friend to join in team challenges like races, relays, and tug-of-war! Teens, we’d love your voice to help shape the future of Jewish Teen Programs in Greater Philadelphia. Join our workshop on Sunday, November 17, from 5-7 pm to share your ideas on social action, arts, sports, leadership, and more—your input matters!
Enriching Events for Adults: On Sunday, November 10, from 5-6:30 pm, join us for a Book Talk with Author Jennifer Lang, where she’ll discuss her book Landed. Explore themes of marriage, family, and identity amid life in Israel, and receive a signed copy with your ticket!
Programs for Older Adults: (Gems) The second round of fall programming for Gems is open for registration! Join us for a variety of activities including a trip to Theatre Ariel for Amsterdam, Seasonal Zentangle sessions in November and December, engaging talks about Philadelphia’s historic stadiums, and an introduction to AI, plus so much more.
We look forward to welcoming you to these enriching, fun, and active programs.
Shabbat Shalom, and thank you for being part of our vibrant community!
