Klezmer Jam
December 8 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
FreeSuggested Donation: $18
Internationally renowned klezmer violinist Alicia Svigals will teach workshop participants how to make the beautiful and deeply Jewish sounds which characterize authentic klezmer playing.
All instruments welcome, no prior klezmer experience necessary, and readers and ear-learners will all find a place in the ensemble. By the end of the workshop, the instant klezmer orchestra will become a party band, and we’ll take turns dancing and playing. Come prepared for joy and fun!
Musicians and non-musicians are welcome.
