Gems at the J | Kombucha Tea: Benefits & use for well-being and everyday life with Dr. Yelena Fayvilevich

We will learn about the history of Kombucha making from around the world, modern manufacturing techniques, plus the health and wellbeing benefits of this drink. The workshop includes demonstrations on how to ferment your Kombucha at home, including secondary fermentation and filtration steps. We will have an opportunity to taste fermented drinks! The instructor will share some recipes.
Please Note: In addition to this wonderful Kombucha event, we also have a Café and Conversation with Folkshul Facilitated by Jennifer Greenfield beginning at 1pm on the same day. To make a “Day at the J” out of it, we have added an optional Kosher Lunch ($12) available between the two programs from 12-1pm. You must register for the two programs separately, but you can add the lunch on to either registration. Lunch must be registered for in advance. Please make sure not to purchase lunch twice if you plan on registering for Café and Conversation as well (click here for more information about that event.)
