Dear Friends,
Amidst our 50th year anniversary celebrations, the Kaiserman JCC’s Board of Directors recently approved a visionary strategic plan for the future. This was intentional. As we commemorate our past, we are also thoughtfully building for tomorrow. This spring two elements of that foundation come online together, as we welcome countless athletes, families, and partners to “play ball” on our new, beautiful softball fields.
These improvements are first and foremost the beginning of a major campus renovation and revitalization project. Along with these new fields, we are actively planning significant work to our gymnasium, preschool, and HVAC infrastructure over the next year. Thanks to a generous Renovation Assistance Capital Program (RACP) grant from the State, and the contributions of our incredible donors, these initiatives will foster vibrant, up-to-date, and aesthetically pleasing environments in some of our core spaces at the center. You too can donate today here to help us make this dream a reality.
In addition, this investment in our youth sports facilities serves our vision of the JCC as a vibrant hub of communal life. Beginning this week, the JCC proudly welcomed to these fields athletes from our partners at Jack M Barrack Hebrew Academy, Kohelet Yeshiva, Lower Merion Little League, and Lower Merion School District (Black Rock Middle School). As a new home for all of these teams, the JCC’s campus will be a place for practice, games, and the critical connections that form amongst community when they gather together for joyful endeavors like youth sports.
We hope you will come see them in action soon!
Shabbat Shalom,
Alan
