With the end of Hanukkah approaching, and winter break beginning for our preschool, we are taking some time to reflect on our magical holiday celebrations.
Last week we held our first Preschool Hanukkah Show since the pandemic! It was a wonderful celebration – each class performed a Hanukkah song, and so many of our families were able to join us! It was topped off with a delicious bake sale that will fund teacher appreciation later this year. Our Kindergarten students ended the show with the sweetest going-away song for Miss Anika who will be moving during break and will be VERY MISSED (there were very few dry eyes!) On Tuesday, we partnered with IAC on a Hanukkah Celebration with over 150 people in attendance! The night was filled with joy, light, and love. Families enjoyed Interactive stations creating gelt, candles, art work, and more. The kids enjoyed music, prizes, games and activities. The evening ended with a Hanukiah lighting by Rabbi Brennan, delicious pizza, sufganyot, and some play time!
It was truly a blessing to be able to celebrate Hanukkah with so many people here this year.
