We are so excited to be inducting the inaugural class of the team Philadelphia Maccabi Hall of Fame. With a storied history of over thirty years, so many athletes, coaches, and more have dedicated their time and shared their passions to create and grow Maccabi in Philadelphia. But what do we mean by storied history? And what merited inclusion in the first class of inductees?
Coaches, leaders, and nationally recognized founders of the JCC Maccabi experience with upwards of 35 years of participation in the global endeavor
Teams that not only won gold, but every single competition they competed in
Individuals decorated with over 30 medals during their tenure competing
Among so many other stories! Indeed, these inductees represent not only athletic achievement, but the very best of the JCC Maccabi Games spirit – vibrant Jewish values that include kavod, or respect, ga’ava, or pride, and Amiut Yehudit, or Jewish peoplehood. Join us to help celebrate the achievements of our initial 13 inductees / teams, and help us continue to bring the Maccabi experience to Jewish teens across our community by attending this community fundraiser.
